Jackson Board of Zoning Appeals
The purpose of these rules is to provide for the orderly disposition of the business of the City Board of Zoning Appeals (Board) by codifying the means by which that business is to be transacted.
Meeting Schedule
The Jackson Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 3:30 pm as needed in the George A. Smith meeting room.

Jackson Community Redevelopment Agency
The purpose for which the CRA is created to plan, finance and implement development and redevelopment plans and projects which will eliminate or prevent the effects of slum and blight within the corporate limits of the City of Jackson by using some or all of the powers identified and allowed under the State of Tennessee Community Redevelopment Act of 1998.

Jackson Madison County Historic Zoning Commission
The objectives and purpose of the Jackson-Madison County Historic Zoning Commission shall be as set forth in Section 13-7-402 of the Tennessee Code Annotated and amendments thereto and those powers and duties delegated to the commission by the Jackson City Council.

Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission
The objectives and purposes of the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission shall be as set forth in Sections 13-4-1-1 through 13-4-105 and Section 13-3-101 et seq. of the Tennessee Code Annotated, and amendments and supplements thereto, and those powers and duties delegated to the Planning Commission by the City Council.
