Audit Committee
The Audit Committee was created to guide and accomplish a coordinated and comprehensive audit of the City which will, in accordance with existing and future needs, strive for further fiscal responsibility and efficiency in the achievement of shared goals and objectives of the citizens, Mayor, and Council. The Audit Committee shall function in an advisory capacity to provide policy, procedural, and other financial recommendations to the Mayor and Council on Audit matters.
Meeting Schedule
The Audit committee sets their meeting times. As of now, they have elected every first Tuesday, following council meeting at 10 am.

Beer Board
It shall be the duty and responsibility of the City Beer Board to regulate, establish policy and procedure for the issuance of permits to sell, store for sale, manufacture, transportation of and possession of beer within this municipality. These Bylaws are adopted under the authority set forth under Title 8, Chapter 2, Section 2-203, “…the board shall keep a record of its proceedings.” The specific duties and responsibilities of the Beer Board, along with its rules and regulations, can be found in the Municipal Code of the City of Jackson, TN, Title 8, Chapter 2.
Meeting Schedule
The Beer Board meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 8:00am in the City Council Chambers.

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee shall function in an advisory capacity to provide policy, procedural, and other financial recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on Budgetary matters striving to further fiscal responsibilities and efficiency in the achievement of the shared goals and objectives of the citizens.
Meeting Schedule
The Budget Committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11:00am in the George A. Smith meeting room.

Civil Service
The Civil Service Board (CSB) was established to maintain a position classification plan; formulate rules and regulations covering employment examinations and promotions; hear appeals from employees in classified employment; and provide rules of interpretation and administration of ordinance affecting personnel.
Meeting Schedule
The Civil Service Board meets on a case-by-case basis.

Ethics Committee
Title 1, Chapter 1-410 (10) The Ethics Committee shall investigate any credible complaint against an official or an or employee charging any violation of this Code of Ethics, or may undertake an investigation on its own initiative, when it acquires information indicating a possible violation.
Meeting Schedule
The Ethics Committee meets on an "as needed" basis. They assemble once a complaint is filed.
