City Tree Board
It shall be the duty and responsibility of the city tree board to study, investigate, counsel, and develop a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs located within public rights-of-way in the City of Jackson or in city parks or on any other publicly owned property within the City of Jackson.

City of Jackson Commission on Aging
The mission of the Commission On Aging is to bring awareness of the seniors in the community and help develop strategies for reducing poverty, inequality, and addressing other quality of life concerns among the aging population in Jackson, TN.
Meeting Schedule
The Commission on Aging meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:00am in the 3rd floor conference room of City Hall.

City of Jackson Housing Commission
The mission of the Housing Commission (henceforth referred to as “the Commission”) is to develop a comprehensive strategic housing plan for the City of Jackson, TN, with an emphasis on affordable and attainable housing supply production and preservation. The Commission will work in partnership with the Mayor’s Office and City Council to implement policies and programs that will further this mission.
Meeting Schedule
The Commission shall meet monthly for a minimum of six times a year. The regular meetings shall be held at such time, date and place as the Commission may determine.

The Recreation and Parks Advisory Board offers advice and consultation to City Council and city departments on the acquisition, construction, programing, and maintenance of city park property and recreational facilities managed by the City of Jackson Recreational and Parks department.

Keep Jackson Beautiful Commission
This organization shall strive to change the attitudes of all citizens of the City of Jackson about the disposal of litter through education and motivation. It shall seek effective enforcement of all pertinent ordinances and laws with reference to litter control. It shall encourage volunteer recycling as an alternative to land fill disposal and it shall encourage beautification projects through volunteer organizations.

Mayor's Youth Council
All members must be a current junior in a Jackson-Madison County public or private high school during calendar school year and live in Jackson Madison County, Jackson, TN. Members must have at least a 2.5 GPA and have a passion for serving in the community. Members must also have a desire to develop his/her leadership potential among their peers.

The Mayor's Youth Council meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Mayor's Conference Room, third floor of City Hall.
